Bacharach's most intensive rehabilitation services are available after stroke or brain injury for people who do not otherwise need inpatient hospital care, through the Day Rehab Program.

Day Rehab is the right choice for those who need the special care that only a licensed rehabilitation hospital can provide, but who are medically stable and well enough to spend nights at home.

Day Rehab allows patents to get intensive hospital -based rehab by day, but enjoy the comforts of home by night.

The Joint and Spine Day Rehabilitation Program is 5 days for knees and laminectomies, 7 days for hips.

Bacharach will provide:

Case management Lunch Physiatry Rehab nursing Physical therapy Occupational therapy

You need:

Prescription for day rehab from your   physician and precertification or referral form from insurance if necessary Insurance card Medication you will take while you are here List of all medicines you take daily Any small medical equipment you are   using (reacher, shoe horn, etc.)

What to wear:

Comfortable clothing Comfortable shoes, preferably sneakers A change of clothing to be kept in locker

If preferred, knee and laminectomy patients may safely travel by car. Hip patients must be transported via wheelchair van.
