Amputee Program
Our amputee program is a comprehensive, integrated system of care. Under the direction of a doctor of physical medicine, the therapy team will teach wheelchair skills, transfer skills, care of the remaining limb and retraining in the activities of daily living.
Working closely with on-site prosthetists, the patient will be fitted for an appropriate prosthesis and to learn to ambulate using the prosthesis.
