The Bacharach Hospital Foundation was created in 1991 to manage
and apply charitable contributions for the benefit of the
Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation. A Board
of Trustees, nominated and elected from the community, governs
the Foundation. Each year, the Foundation makes a grant to
the Institute, which directly benefits patient care.
Charitable
contributions can be made in a variety of ways-through annual
giving, supporting the annual golf tournament or fundraising
events,
making a memorial contribution, a gift or pledge to the building
fund, or through a planned gift such as a bequest, charitable
remainder trust or life insurance policy.
The Bacharach
Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation and all
charitable contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible.

2. Once Bacharach has your
completed paperwork (do not send unless
unless it is complete) someone will call you to
schedule you for
orientation.
Orientation takes about 1 hour and consists of watching a
short
video on infection control, fire safety, and privacy,
There is a
self-test to complete after each video.
3. At that time you can
also schedule your volunteer hours, learn where
to sign in and out, and ask any questions you may have.
4. Bacharach welcomes
volunteers both on the main campus and at
some of our physical therapy centers. The more
flexible you are
about where you are willing to volunteer, the more
quickly you can
get started.
5. In addition to signing
in, all volunteers should keep track of their hours.
When the time comes for a letter documenting your
volunteer service,
you will have accurate record of your work.
6. Volunteers should dress
comfortably, but appropriately - If your mother
would disapprove of an outfit, so would we!
Employees and volunteers
do not wear jeans at Bacharach.
