Hearts Therepeutic Riding will join us at Ability Fair 2019, July 24 at Stockton University.
Inspiring speakers, innovative products, and services designed to improve the lives of the physically challenged will all be on display at Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation’s Ability Fair 2019.
The fair will take place Wednesday, July 24 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Stockton University’s Campus Center located at 101 Vera King Farris Drive in Galloway, NJ.
Free and open to the public, the Ability Fair will showcase more than 60 exhibitors, organizations and agencies offering resources to improve daily living.
The distinguished speakers will be Bacharach doctors:
- Abraham Alfaro – “Spasticity Management” at 11 a.m.
- Ross Berlin – “Exercise and Stroke” at 11:30 a.m.
- Marianne Sturr – “Brain Injury Resources” at 12 p.m.
Tobii Dynavox will showcase its communication devices, which help non-verbal people to communicate using its software.
Bruckner Chase of Ocean Positive will be on hand to talk about his swim and paddle board programs.
Hearts Therapeutic Riding will bring one of its beautiful, docile therapy horses. These graceful horses endure an entire afternoon of love in return for the chance to munch the sweet green grass.
Two vendors, Mobility Works and Brunswick Mobility will display accessible minivans.
Advancing Opportunities, Disability Rights NJ, NJ Division of Disability Services, Atlantic Center for Independent Living, Consistent Supports Coordination, and Bratton Law Group offer support, advocacy and insight.
Dr. Janet Revelle will perform free hearing screenings.
