Jessica Soltys, PT, MPT, also has a specialty certification in LSVT BIG, a protocol for Parkinson’s patients.

Jessica Soltys graduated from Stockton University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001 and a BS in Biology in 1999. She is a PT, MPT.

“I have a specialty certification in LSVT BIG which is a treatment protocol for patients with Parkinson’s disease. I also have extensive manual therapy training. I am sitting for that specialty exam in December 2021 (it was derailed December 2020 due to COVID restrictions).”

A Super Rewarding Profession

“Physical therapy is a super rewarding profession. We get to help people regain their independence, achieve things that they may not have otherwise been able to do, and help them to minimize their pain. I enjoy getting to know people and it makes me feel so joyful when someone is able to be successful. I have held hands and given hugs, listened to the struggles of patients and family members. I am so grateful that people trust me to help them through some of the toughest times in their life and I hope I can make their lives just a little bit easier.”

“I have so many stories that stick in my head…I do fondly remember my patients with Parkinson’s disease and how despite the struggles placed in their path, there is a positive energy and determination to maintain independence and not let the disease take away their appreciation for the beauty of life.”

Presently, Jessica is on of Bacharach’s physical therapists providing therapy to patients in their homes.

“Home care is rewarding because I get to know the patient and their families, I can help their family members as well as the patient to make life easier through improving the patients function or finding the appropriate resources or equipment to allow them to be able to do what needs to be done on a daily basis.”
