Sub-Acute Rehabilitation at Bacharach
After joint replacement, illness or injury, many patients need to rebuild strength and regain independence. But where do you get the after hospital care you or a loved one need? Sub-acute rehabilitation facilities provide this short-term rehab stay between the hospital and home. Importantly, they offer services like physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, and skilled nursing. People who go directly home without rehabilitation are at higher risk for falls and readmission to the hospital. On the other hand, under the guidance of skilled therapists and nurses in the sub-acute setting, patients can build stamina and learn how to perform the activities of daily living safely.
Short-term rehabilitation facilities, like the Renaissance Pavilion, offer customized care plans. These care plans help individuals recovering after a stay in the hospital for surgery, serious illnes or accident. The Renaissance Pavilion staff are all members of the Bacharach hospital family, known throughout south Jersey for our clinical excellence and compassion.
At some other nursing home rehabilitation facilities, patients stay for many weeks before going home. In contrast, our patients only stay for about 14 days on average, growing stronger through skilled therapy and attentive nursing care. Most importantly, we have the most advanced therapy equipment in a state-of-the-art therapy gym.
